アリシア・キーズが、待望の7thスタジオ・アルバム『Alicia』を2020年3月20日にリリースすることを明らかにした。

　4つの角度から撮影された自身のポートレート写真を用いたアルバムのアートワークをインスタグラムに投稿した彼女は、「#ALICIA ザ・アルバム 3月20日」とリリースを発表している。

　2016年の『ヒア』以来の新作となる『Alicia』からは、ミゲルが参加したリード・シングル「Show Me Love」に加えて、ファンキーなダンス・ナンバー「Time Machine」とアップリフティングな「Underdog」が公開されている。

　今作をひっさげ、北米、カナダ、ヨーロッパを巡るワールド・ツアーを行うことも決定している。ツアーは、6月5日にアイルランド・ダブリンでキックオフし、9月22日に米フロリダ・マイアミで閉幕する。

　なお、アリシアは現地時間1月26日に開催される【第62回グラミー賞授賞式】で2度目の司会を務めることが決まっている。
